Uplift Technologies Inc is a popular name in the innovative healthcare technology industry. The company was formed in 1933 by Michael Speraw. Then it was called Daylight Technologies and there first product was Day-Light bright light therapy systems that was used on people with Seasonal Affective Disorders, popularly known as SAD or Winter Blues.

The name of the company was changed to Uplift Technologies in 1999, inspired by their very successful product, Uplift Seat Assist released in 1995. The ever expanding product line of Uplift Technologies now includes Uplift Commode Assist, Uplift StumpRest and Uplift Power Seat. Recently a new brand has also been introduced, the Upeasy Lifting Cushion Brand.
